Hokmah Art & Company

The company name was selected in the 1990’s by the founding artist, Joan Betts, through a New King James bible that dedicated a whole page to the study of “Hokmah Wisdom”. She was inspired through the Hebrew meaning and understood art has a greater purpose. Generally, people stereo type artists to be a flighty and flakey sort of group. However, God put wisdom and understanding into gifted artists to do all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary (place of worship) Exodus 36.
